the blog post that won 2014

I love my country.  Sure, we have a lot to improve on, but show me which country doesn’t.  (that was a rhetorical question btw).

I came across this blog post last week, and it’s pretty much gone viral in our sunny South Africa.

I personally see the utterly hilarious side (I’m from Durban, kinda in the middle of Cape Town and Jo’burg, but not so much) and thoroughly enjoyed reading this post.

So go on, have a read, and hopefully a good giggle.

P.S.:  I have been to both Cape Town and Jo’burg, and thoroughly enjoyed my visits to both provinces.  I do have my prefered favourite, but I’m not getting in the middle of this blogging war!!!  Short name, blwar – blog+war=blwar…  Ok I’m going now.

  1. Hello would you mind stating which blog platform you’re working with? I’m looking to start my own blog soon but I’m having a difficult time selecting between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most blogs and I’m looking for something completely unique. P.S My apologies for being off-topic but I had to ask!

    1. Hey Tasha 🙂

No probs; I use WordPress. I’m actually not familiar with the other blogging platforms that you’ve mentioned. I’ve found WordPress very easy to use, and I still learn new things every now and then! They have so many free themes, and I like to change mine about 2-3 times a year.

Have fun, and best of luck in starting your blog!
