an update

Just a quick update on the monetary issue that I posted about last week regarding a certain froyo bar…

The owner called me back on Friday afternoon (after leaving 3 messages for her) and completely agreed with me, that the cashier should have confirmed as to whether or not the R10 was a tip. By law she has to give him 3 days from the incident, for him to come forward about it, and if not, disciplinary proceedings are started. She said that she has cameras in that area, so will be able to confirm if he pocketed the money or not. She has even gifted me with a voucher, for my inconvenience.

I really appreciated her callback, our frank and honest conversation, and her offer of the voucher shows me, that she really appreciates and respects her customers.

I will most definitely be going back 🙂
